I’m Amber Amotegui, an award-winning audio producer based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The bulk of my work is centered around podcast production, content writing, and copyediting.
—————————————
I interned at my local NPR member station, WLRN.FM, in the summer of 2020. My time in local journalism prepared me to meet tight deadlines, collaborate with others, and get to the heart of the story. Some of the stories I covered include social justice protests, small businesses surviving the pandemic, and Gen Z’s push for social reform.
From there, I became the Lead Content Producer of The Florida Podcast Network. I produced interview-style shows for both independent clients and the network. These experiences inspired me to start taking on freelance clients, specifically people who have a passion for podcasting but don’t want to do the tedious production work like editing and recording episodes or booking guests.
I also do tape syncs and field recordings anywhere in South Florida. Some production companies I’ve field produced for include Slate, Novel, High Five Content, and Dear Media.
I’m available for freelance podcast editing, producing, content writing, scripting, and podcast producing/editing gigs. Please feel free to reach out here.
Outside of work, you can find me rollerblading, playing basketball, or somewhere at the beach.
